Seedsow Lullaby

At first, when I started the game, I waited for a while to see when the option to choose an action would appear, like in all visual novels, but it never came. It's just a linear story with amazing artwork, character design, music, and atmosphere. Even though the story is a bit confusing with its unexpected plot twists, I really enjoyed it; this story really touched me deeply, and in the end, I was really hoping that it wasn't over yet.

This game made me shed tears on 24 separate occasions and no this is not a haha funny exaggeration number I could literally list every single time if asked... Have fun!

Overall, I thought that this was an enjoyable read. The premise and art style caught my attention, and was able to keep it for the duration of the story. I think the VN made good use of it's runtime, with most of the scenes feeling important or not "out of place" in the story, and very rarely did it feel like a portion dragged out for too long. I think it also does a good job fleshing out the main cast, and you could really see them grow close to one another while feeling natural or organic. Of the tags that the game is listed as on Steam, adventure and emotional are probably the most prevalent themes throughout the story. It also gets points for being visually appealing to look at. There's a lot of different CGs used, and the art style and setting does remind me of a Studio Ghibli movie. My only complaint is that there were a few scenes that did feel frustrating, either for dragging on forever, or reminding me of the classic anime misunderstandings or not being able to communicate properly. Personally, I didn't have a problem with Seedsow Lullaby being a kinetic visual novel with no choices or branching paths, but I can see it potentially being a turn off for some readers if you're looking for a VN with more replayability, unless you like to replay it similar to rewatching a movie. I did buy the game on discount, but I'd say I got my moneys worth, taking me about 12 hours (11.9 exact) to finish, though your time may vary depending on how fast or slow you read.
