Sanitarium

Some games make you feel indescribable emotions. This game is one of them. Everything from its story to its atmosphere and music left a lasting impression on me. It has truly earned a place among my favorite games.

I played it with my dad when i was 7 - i liked it. I played it alone when i was 16 - it was one of my favourite games. im 20, its still fantastic. Im sure it will be still fantastic when i turn 40. It will be fantstic even im already dead p.s. my association is karma police by radiohead. Maybe even the whole album "ok computer"

i love love LOOOOOVE this game to death. it's so uncomfortable and creepy, but the lore is immaculate and it sucks you in way easier than you'd think. the slow movement speed of our protagonist is dreadful, however this ultimately adds to the frightful atmosphere. the only thing i have to complain about is the controls. i have wrist issues no thanks to my connective tissue disorder, and let's just say i don't like having to hold down a button on my mouse for nearly 6 hours straight. trying to find objects to interact with is also tedious since there are no outlines or hints on what to click or where to look. otherwise, this game is damn near perfect. from the bottom of my heart i implore anyone who is even mildly interested in horror games to play sanitarium. but if you're prone to wrist pain or despise pixel hunting, maybe you should watch a playthrough instead.
