Это было потрясающе! Автор действительно умеет создавать ситуации и проявлять героев в них. Нет ни одного затянутого момента, искуственных задержек или роялей в кустах. Серьезно, я прочёл множество новелл, как классику от Key так и современных, и в этой игре прямо чувствуется уровень. Как я выяснил позже, автор действительно успешный писатель лайт новелл, и игра это новая ступенька его творчества. И пусть вас не пугает что игра на английском, я проходил ее с программой LunaTranslator , это бесплатный софт для захвата текста с экрана и перевода на лету, ставится и используется элементарно.

✔️ Tested on Steam Deck, it works fine (22/09/2026). 'R2' button to advance text and touchscreen/buttons for menu and choices. The art was what made me notice this visual novel in the first place. I really liked the cover and the rest of the VN looks just as pretty! It's a time travel story and yeah, we've seen this a million times in VNs, but I still enjoy it. The story reminded me of Steins;Gate quite a few times and I think most Steins;Gate fans would probably have fun with this one. There's a few clichés in the characters development, especially with the childhood friends thing, but I didn't mind it too much. They've been written with enough little quirks to make the relationships feel a bit more personal than the usual childhood-friend setup. Also, the protagonist has an interesting motivation that's talked about quite often: someone sacrificed themselves to save him so he is kind of obsessed with making his life count, thinking about ways of doing something important with it and not waste the chance he was given. The OST has that slightly old-fashioned, almost Romantic classical feel that fits the VN surprisingly well. Alex Lu did a good job with this one. What bothered me the most was the English translation, the usual constant when reading visual novels that have originally been written in Chinese. It's a bit awkward and stiff in places and it doesn't help much when some parts of the story start moving pretty quickly. Two of the endings also felt a little weird and abrupt and I'm not sure if the translation played a part on it. But honestly I still ended up liking this one. Great VN with virtually no filler make for a gripping a tightly bound story. The characters are only a small level up from being complete tropes but the focus is on their involvement in the time travel elements as well as the romance plots, so it is hardly an issue. Music, sound and visuals are also acceptable, but not the highlight. The story is obviously deeply reminiscent of Stein's Gate as many will point out but doesn't meander as much and the time travel system in Rail of Mobius is unique enough. The romance in this story is very touching and really brings emotional depth to the time travel plot as well as being very heartwarming in its own right. Definitely recommended for VN enjoyers.
