one night, hot springs

Such a beautiful and heartwarming story... I got all the endings in under 40 minutes (I am a fast reader so your mileage may vary) and they all felt beautiful (and saddening/melancholic) in their own way. The trans experience really is unique... beautiful in some ways... ugly in others... but the emotions that it carries is what makes the experience so unique. Being trans really touches you in ways that could never be explained any other way. The desire to live as who you are and be accepted for who you are is absolutely such an impactful and heartfelt feeling, while at the same time struggling to be who you are and be accepted for who you are is such a painful and heartwrenching feeling. Every trans person's experience is different of course... some may find being trans beautiful, and some may find being trans ugly. The game does not show the ugliest sides of being trans, but it does show the everyday struggles, the difficulties, the desires, and the happiness that comes with being trans. This game puts all of those thoughts and feelings I stated above in such a wholesome, cute, and relatably written way that I implore anyone who is trans to give it a shot. Worth your time and emotions, especially if you're trans. TL;DR I cried a lot, would recommend 10/10

This game is cute, but it can get a little sad. SPOILERS: Depending on your choices, Haru can either have a good, if a little tiring, night out, or she can end up feeling exhausted and isolated from her friends. Haru is on edge for most of the trip as a trans woman, since she finds herself in multiple situations where she has to explain why she makes certain decisions or feels uncomfortable doing certain things. There are multiple endings, one bad, one good, one neutral, and four focused on the outcomes of an interaction with either Manami or Erika. The bad ending involves the trip tiring Haru out, to the point of her deciding to leave the hot springs in the morning before Manami and Erika wake up, so while it's not good, nothing overtly violent or cruel is done to her. The neutral ending has Haru and Manami decide to go to a theme park instead of hot springs very early on in the game. The other endings are all a little bittersweet as well, but in all of them Haru ends up bonding more closely with Manami or Erika, who are both supportive of her. Plus, an employee with a transgender sister goes out of her way to give Haru opportunities to enjoy the hot springs as much as the other customers. It's short but sweet without being too saccharine. I definitely recommend it!

really cute game, I really like how the topic was handled, lowkey made me cry a bit. short but worth a play especially if you're a trans person or want to understand them a bit more.
