Never give up, Even if it fades, do not lose the light. Never thought a rhythm game could be approached this way. It's genuinely so much fun to play while following the story, it feels like I'm actively playing an adventure game and a rhythm game at the same time. The art style reminds me a lot of Madoka Magica, while the gameplay feels similar to Muse Dash, with plenty of reading-related gimmicks that keep things interesting. The game is original, feels great to play, has an absolute banger of a soundtrack and I love the art direction and the dramatic story. Honestly, it's easily one of the best games I've ever played, I just like everything about this game. There's just one thing missing as of the time of writing this review : QueseraGames if you're reading this, please release the soundtrack so I can buy it and support you, I want to pay more for this game you guys deserve it for real

One of the greatest experiences I've ever witnessed in my life. A game that has succeeded in every possible way to show how powerful visual and musical story telling is. Something so good that it can be used as an example of why exactly games as a genre can be irreplaceable. Even if you don't think rhythm games are for you, I still highly recommend you play this just to witness the spectacle alone. This is a heavy story driven game within an already niche genre, so I will be happy to see anyone pick up this game and feel the same emotions I felt. The devs deserve all the praise they can get. I hope some of them overseas can understand my comment so they know just how much it has really impacted me!

Pros: + Endearing characters and stage plays. + Outstanding visuals. + Good story pacing with a coherent theme (although some mysteries remain unresolved). + Pays homage to the theatre, which is a rare theme in video games. + Scarlette is one of the best rhythm game musicians. Cons: - Requires internet connection to play. - Only allows to bind three keys for each lane, which is limiting if you're used to using more keys in games like Muse Dash. - No option to reduce the screen shake effect or camera movement. - "Free play" mode is there and functional, but it's not the main focus of the game. As of now, it's lacking in both content and customization. - No soundtrack DLC on release. All in all, get this as a one-off, highly polished indie game experience. If you're strictly looking for a rhythm game, Muse Dash is a better choice.
