Necrosmith

Im gonna beat the game but boy do I hate it. Very little control, insane difficulty, necessary boring grind to even do basic thing. The game will essentially end whenever it wants, regardless of how many dudes you have (which you cant control) Very close to being a good game but still bad. The sequel is slightly better but still confusing and unnecessarily difficult. Would give it a neutral review if I could because its not terrible. Its just frustrating and poorly designed?

Love the idea, horrible implementation. The AI is horrible, feels like you need to micro manage them all the time, leaving some at the base to defend doesn't work because you are either in full control or some spawn just wipes them all out. You get so many parts, i wish there was a way to auto-create specific units as soon as the parts are available. Also wish i could auto-sell some parts for mana generation Also wish there was a way to tell the units to defend the area around the base and have the ranged units just try to attack while keeping their distance. Maybe with enough experience i can circumvent most of these issues, but i wasn't enjoying this enough to bother.

Necrosmith offered the most fun gameplay out of any tower defense that I have played so far, looking forward to try the 2nd game.
