MySims™ Kingdom

I bought this strictly for nostalgic value. Did I love it? Yes. Am I mad I bought it and don't have enough self control? You betcha. Overpriced, even for $20 when it's on sale. It isn't doing anything special that a new game can't do. Don't be like me, support someone not EA.

If you started playing video games at a young age, there was always that one game. The one that not many others knew of or cared about, not one that was remotely popular to begin with, but was one that held YOUR attention. I have a couple games that I can credit with that title, but none hold it like this. MySims Kingdom, was my childhood game. The one that I always came back to. It was a game that I could relax with, unlike others that kept me focused. I could load this up, build stuff, goof around and enjoy myself. I could restart the game an infinite amount of times and still enjoy it. The characters are silly, the islands are defined and unique, feeling distinct from any other, and the creative freedom is amazing. I absolutely adore this game. As an adult, I'm certainly less excited about this game than I used to be. But when I saw this get released to PC, I picked it up immediately. Surprisingly, I've never tried its counterpart. But when I'm done my playthrough here, I'm confident I'll love it as well.

I completed it, every scroll, every task. 100%. I've completed it multiple times and even had it on the Wii. Worth every penny.
