Despite its simple appearance, MCML is a very deep game. There are many different settings and details. SLRR in a 2D world. One of the disadvantages is the clunky translation into Russian, where some keywords/sentences display squares instead of letters. I recommend playing in English, but I hope that the Russian translation will be improved in the future.
My Car My Life is an Early Access drag racing simulator that places mechanical knowledge and thoughtful vehicle building ahead of flashy presentation. Developed and published by Noguiin, the game draws heavy inspiration from Brazilian automotive culture, creating an experience that celebrates the passion of modifying everyday cars into serious racing machines. Rather than offering an expansive open world or countless race disciplines, it focuses on a specialized style of competition where preparation, tuning, and engineering decisions determine victory. This clear direction gives the game a unique identity among indie racing titles and appeals directly to players who enjoy the technical side of performance driving. The heart of the experience is its extensive customization system. Instead of limiting upgrades to simple performance boosts, the game encourages players to understand how different engine components interact with one another. Every modification affects the vehicle's overall behavior, making each tuning decision meaningful. Building a faster car becomes an engaging process of experimentation, testing, and refinement rather than simply purchasing the most expensive parts. This rewarding progression creates a satisfying sense of ownership as every successful run reflects the player's own engineering choices instead of relying on predetermined upgrade paths. One of the game's standout mechanics is its detailed engine management system, NoguiinTech. This feature allows players to fine-tune multiple aspects of engine performance, including ignition timing, fuel delivery, fuel pressure, and air-fuel mixture. Such depth is uncommon in many racing games, especially independent projects, and adds a layer of realism that rewards patience and technical understanding. Players who enjoy learning how engines function will find plenty of opportunities to experiment with different configurations, while newcomers can gradually develop an appreciation for the complexity behind high-performance tuning. Career progression offers a structured series of drag racing challenges against twelve rivals, each featuring distinct vehicles and varying levels of difficulty. Seasonal championships introduce additional objectives by separating naturally aspirated and turbocharged categories, encouraging players to build specialized cars instead of depending on a single setup for every event. This progression system gives players long-term goals while maintaining variety throughout the campaign. Although the amount of content is still growing due to the game's Early Access status, the existing framework provides a solid foundation for future updates and expanded competition. Outside of racing, My Car My Life introduces several side activities that help diversify the overall experience. Players can visit a local bar to participate in three different minigames, earning extra money that can be invested back into vehicle upgrades. These activities provide occasional breaks from the primary racing loop and contribute to the game's portrayal of an underground automotive lifestyle. The available drag strips and racing environments, while not extensive, suit the focused nature of the gameplay, emphasizing acceleration and tuning precision rather than elaborate track design. Visually, the game embraces colorful pixel art that favors charm and readability over graphical realism. The retro presentation works well with its straightforward mechanics, while the vehicles themselves display enough personality to feel distinct from one another. Sound design further enhances immersion, with engine notes changing according to modifications and engine speed, giving every customized build its own audible character. These details reinforce the satisfaction of improving a car and make each successful launch feel more authentic. As an Early Access release, there are naturally areas that still require refinement.
