Mousebusters

Odencat did it again! They managed to squeeze all the feels into a little pipsqueak 🐭 package. The writing is masterclass in the way it brings together endearing characters, social commentary, and gentle psychology. The gameplay is basic, but I actually had a lot of fun with the simple arcade-y ghostbusting minigames throughout. They added enough variety to those sequences over time to keep them engaging. There was even some great post-credits content that I stuck around for because I loved exploring every little inch of this world. It is a breezy, but affecting experience with some cool secrets to find. You could probably finish the full game in 3hrs, so I give it one of my highest recommendations for a bite-sized story-driven game (especially if you like other Odencat games)!

Came for the cute mouse jams, stayed for the feels. Short and sweet game with wonderful art, music, and a heartwarming story that hits you where you least expect it. Always been a fan of the way Odencat weaves social commentary and life lessons into their games, and this one is no different. Gameplay was a bit linear for me, but it's a port from a mobile game, so understandable. Love this steam port for the bonus content, especially the Bear's Restaurant one. No spoilers, just go play the game! <3 (Also please make Chief and MC plushies, I would buy in a heartbeat!!!!!!!)

A quick 2 hour-ish game about hunting down ghosts as a mouse, a simple game with a simple story. a good way to relax and waist a little time. would probably wait for it on sell though but still for its current price id say its still good to get if not just because of the novelty of it
