MotoGP™26

it's such an improvement. i came from 25 after taking a huge break after 2019, and it's amazing. if you're lookin, wondeering if you should buy, do it. i never write reviews this is my first. holy f*** milestone cooked with this game, and if you still find it hard. throw that it in arcade and it's like 20x easier to control. stop wondering if you should get it because you wont like it. get this game.

Honestly wouldn't bother, I'm an extreme casual and this game was most definitely not worth buying, sure it's far from downright bad but it isn't good either and the last and only MotoGP games I've played prior were way back when I was a kid so I can't really comment on the previous titles from Milestone but after reading recent reviews for this game it seems they have a less than stellar reputation. Milestone seem to have a habit of trying to fix what isn't broken and many players of this years MotoGP preferred only having to handle the bike instead of both bike and rider together and it's been enough of a change in physics to turn away most players or have them use arcade settings and the AI is not much better. I've played on both arcade and pro and I'm woeful on both but I switched difficulties to see if it had any direct difference on AI behaviour during races and nope, they don't make passes, they don't change how they approach any corner on any track in any race, always taking the same lines. They all stay clumped in a dead straight line and never break formation in any way so difficulty does not alter race behaviour whatsoever, riders will literally divebomb corners and bumrush you on the straightaways, running straight up the back of you. The tutorial is almost nonexistent and a direct copy paste of previous years from what I've read, that aside though if you're gonna have a tutorial then at the very least have it actually explain the rider and bike physics for casuals such as myself, whilst also making it skippable for veterans if they so choose but forget that, Milestone finds laziness easier. Another negative for me is slow load times, wait through the splash screens and then another five to ten minutes for the main menu and upon my first time starting I didn't appreciate being prompted to use an Epic Games account. I bought the game on Steam, meaning my preferred company of choice to play any game is Steam so don't wave Epic in my face, please and thank you. Milestone even remotely associating themselves with Epic should be enough to warrant a thumbs down. Verdict: Simply wasn't for me but I'm sure any hardcore MotoGP fans will love it but if you're anything like me then I would strongly suggest either waiting for a sale or avoiding altogether and as previously stated Epic Games is something I will never support.

A quick uninstall.....the game feels unfinished and more like its from the early 2010s , a definite downgrade from motogp25
