    I play this with a friend, and we have a decent enough time doing one on ones. The art is neat, the card game can be fun, but make no mistake whatsoever, this game is not fair, the shuffler is not impartial or fairly weighted, let alone randomized, and neither is the match algorithm if you attempt to play online or, God forbid, Ranked. Suffice to say, unless you love sitting in rank limbo forever because the game reads what deck you play and then feeds you only cards you don't need, land drowning multiple times every single time I play for example, or the matchmaking just sends you directly to the most obnoxious counterdeck imaginable, just understand that you are not here for proper challenge or a fun even match, this is a casino. Pure and simple. If you ever consider spending money in this game, uninstall it, unplug your PC, and immediately get checked by a doctor because you are

    I don't leave reviews, but this one deserves one. Magic the Gathering (the card game) was designed to be a fun, balanced strategy game and it was so successful that it has endured for 30+ years. MTG Arena is not. It is designed to make money. All of the things that make Magic the Gathering a good game are in MTG Arena, but their attempts to force win rates, matchmaking, the in game economy make this an absolutely miserable way to play a fun game. The MTG Arena game play is great, the software is well done, it SHOULD be an amazing way to enjoy the game online. By messing with the matchmaking and win rates, the games mean nothing. There are times when it decides you are going to lose and there is nothing you can do about it....they do this by repeatedly making you face the best counter to your deck, mana flood/screw, the one card that hurts you/helps you is the next card, etc. The wins the

  • … you just get to watch the same cards hit the screen, then the mmr rating is crap it always pits you against hard counters and you can see the patterns in the card draw system. its a bogus way to attempt to play magic
