LOVEPICAL-POPPY!

It's a fun romcom that delivers nicely on both the romance and the comedy, almost devoid of conflict. Nozomi and Miu's routes are great, with the others ranging from good to ok. Unfortunately, it's riddled with typos and such, but hopefully they'll be addressed in the future. (My playtime is inflated from reporting every single one I found.)

A predator's paradise painted in pastel — nuked from my library at the buzzer. Of all the creative concepts a writer could explore, the lazy hack behind LOVEPICAL-POPPY! chose to make a sickening dating sim where you romance childlike characters—including your own sister. I pulled my Steam refund at the absolute last minute because I couldn't stomach another second of this predatory, talentless slop. The colorful art is just a deceptive mask slapped over a repulsive script. It is insane that anyone has the audacity to market this filth as a "lighthearted romance." Aside from the abhorrent themes, the writing itself is a low-effort joke: - Sickening Tropes: Shameless incest bait and creepy pandering used as crutches because the writer is completely incapable of actual storytelling. - Brainless Script: A lifeless doormat of a protagonist paired with painfully dry, bottom-of-the-barrel dialogue. The sheer creep factor completely snuffed out whatever microscopic potential this game had. Save your cash, spare yourself the cringe, and let this degenerate garbage rot in the bargain bin.

Again, SMEE does make me grin like an idiot throughout the game with typical SMEE-ish vibe. Come, SMEE comrade, and don't fret about changing art style. You will love it alright.
