Lost In Fantaland

Короче ребят это вариация Slay the Spire. Ходишь по карте собираешь карты и артефакты, есть костёр, магазин, рандомные события, фыри, бафф карт, в конце босс. Боёвка примерно такая же есть стартовые 5карт на ход, энергия, видно что будет делать враг, НО боёвка проиходит на квадратном поле по которому можно ходить; оно заваленным всякими ловушками, преградами, водой и прочей хренью, всё это позволяет,.держать дистанцию, кидать врагов на ловушки ну и всякое такое. На самом деле ничего особенно, (можете спокойно пропускать, ни чего не потеряете), но всё таки поставлю плюсик.

If Slay the Spire was a tactics RPG, but maybe not as good. It's very unapologetic about it at that, It's an alright game, but i wouldn't get it for the normal price, even the current sale price I personally wouldn't get it. I'll start with the positives: I like the art style, it's very FF and FE-like which I personally enjoy, I like the tile system, but I'm a sucker for it since I've grown up with older tactics RPG. the animations are cool and I like the design of the enemies and using the traps on the battlefield to my advantage, also major plus that you can rotate the field to get a better view of what's going on. a basic feature most games like this have, I just wasn't expecting it for a game with pixel art is all, so It's nice. I like the Battle Ui, It's very clean, though I think the map is a little too basic, but overall it's nice. now for some things that I didn't really like: The wording for card and artifacts descriptions are oddly written, as if trying too hard to explain what things do or how they work, It's not very concise which irked me, sometimes I'd have to re-read something because it didn't immediately make sense or was unnecessary to explain. nit picky, but it just really bugged me how things were written. The map design seems kind of pointless, It's similar to Slay the spire where you go from point to point on the map, experiencing battles, elites, events, bonfires, shops and a boss. but unlike slay the spire, if you want to go to other paths, you can just go straight there from any point, there's no risk, when you reveal a bonfire, you can save it for the future and just go do other battles and when you need to heal, you just jump back to it, just kind of feels boring without that factor of "should i go this route or the other? This route might have something good, but maybe I'll miss out on a bonfire?" instead its just "cool bonfire, ill just go to the shop, go to this mystery event, go to another shop, then go back to the bonfire to heal then fight the elite, go to another bonfire, then fight the boss" if I have to self-impose rules to challenge myself, what's really the point? its pretty easy. this last point isn't really as much of a criticism about the game, as it's more of an opinion of personal taste, the whole self aware character "yeah I know all this skip skip skip" dialogue in games is cringe, I get it, this is a game. It gave off the same vibe as tv shows and movies having the character wildly leaning left and right with a controller, mashing the buttons and then yelling "awww yeah level up, watch out alien scum! level 2 here I come!" like come on bro. its a fantasy game, stick to that theme, also very unsubtle dark souls reference. like at least try to be more subtle with references to other triple A titles? overall while I think its a cool game and enjoyed it for the most part, at least for the time I played, Its not really something I can say I'd wanna spend more of my time replaying, I can't really recommend it at the base price its at, id say this is more worth around $5 at least, otherwise I think you're just better off playing slay the spire because it takes so much from that game and the isometric tile movement really doesn't add that much to the gameplay, the traps are cool, but overall very insignificant. it just starts to feel like I'm playing a not as good version of slay the spire. It does not introduce anything really new to keep you hooked, just kind of rehashing the basics of a rogue-lite/rogue-like taking way too much inspiration from a more popular title with not much else to add to the formula, just not very original.

Very mixed on the game, but ultimately decided to not recommend. My biggest complaint is the game feels bland. There are plenty of cards, items, and artifacts, but none of them make me go "oh *** that's awesome". Even the isekai plot, which could've been fun, disappears after the tutorial.
