Letters of Bernard Thorne

A very trippy lore heavy game. It was super immersive, emotional, and scary but not so scary I couldn't play or finish the game. for not hearing a lot about the game before getting it, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I ended up really liking it. I say that a lot but it's usually true. Some games are just meh or aren't all that memorable but this one was and it's been a while since I played this.

I can't recommend this game enough. You get to see not only what caused Bernard's trauma along with pieces of paper saying what he has. But you also get to experience how the trauma affects him. As someone who has PTSD, I felt like I could heavily relate to the way he tried to make everyone around him think he was fine when he falling apart. The way the guilt from war made him react to his wife even though the player can see just how much she adores him. Him also going through flashbacks, despite not being from the same thing, were so well done. It's a beautifully crafted story.

A great game that talks about survivors guilt and grief. Made me very emotional and also scared cause the game was scary. Another banger by this creator.
