Used the unofficial EN patch, its perfectly servicable with some mix up between he/she when referencing characters due to the language and prose - it has a relatively simple combat system but honestly what shines is the story which is 10/10. I highly recommend doing a first blind playthrough (as you can only experience it once) as it will make subsequent runs more meaningful. With the coming Oct-2026 update, we have 3 more heroines storylines remaining and associate event/story updates but what is already here is great. Highly recommend getting a save expander mod to increase the amount of saves you can get. And last but not least, long live the Snow Mountain Sect! My Master is the No. 1 under Heaven!

The story is tightly paced, deeply moving, and at times genuinely heart-wrenching. It lays bare the warmth and coldness of the jianghu — loyalty and betrayal, kindness and cruelty — and captures the impermanence of life with remarkable honesty and emotional depth. The character writing is superb. Every character is distinct and vividly drawn, each with their own personality, convictions, and flaws. You'll laugh with them, grieve with them, and remember them long after the story ends. The world-building is rigorous and utterly immersive — the sect politics, the martial lore, the turbulent era, all meticulously crafted to pull you in completely. An exceptional novel-style wuxia RPG. If you love story-driven games, this is a must-play. Highest recommendation!
