For a 2026 Video game 2/5 For a Lacrosse based video game 4/5 Pros -Shooting on net in the main screen is actually kind of addicting. -Playing with the "Broadcast" camera feels the best control wise. - Franchise mode gives some depth. -Substitutions add good strategy to games. -Shots and variety are very much the most worked on and well accomplished. -*If they could have actual teams, I believe the Military Cadets are intended to be the Norwich Cadets and that is a huge + for me. Cons -Still feels incredibly close to its original the "2010 College Lacrosse" game, without some features (i.e. intercepting a pass). -PLEASE add an option to not have the slight pause and camera rotation for change of possession. Broadcast mode feels great except for this setting, it does not apply in "Low Dynamic" or "Side" camera settings and the game has a much better flow and intensity to it when it doesn't pause and rotate the camera. However these views take away from the best part of the game, shooting on net. I may almost prefer playing broadcast view with my back to the net. -Passing/Catching: No interceptions Not super intuitive Teammates are either standing still or running towards you : flow isn't there because you can't really have forward momentum after receiving a pass. -Use of AI, only logos but still a ding. -Cost: Too high for what it is, but I'm very willing to support if effort continues to go into it. Casey Powell Lacrosse did not appear to get many updates, I hope it is not the same for this game. It's clear this team wants to keep making lacrosse games but the funding has never been there to give them the jump they need to really reach the audience it could. the price will keep the audience small but hopefully love keeps getting put into the game and people can say "Yes, this is worth $35".

It’s a good game—one of the better lacrosse titles out there. But the face-off system is so annoying. It’s impossible to win one.

I really love the idea of a lacrosse game after all these years and its amazing to see the amount of passion and heart that goes into development but i do firmly believe that its not at the point where id pay 35 for waht the game has to offer but i will most definitely buy it again once its on sale
