Хорошая игра на внимательность, очень приятная, но довольно сложная. Думала, что будет интереснее, но час - два скоротать можно.
What distinguishes this from almost all other hidden object games is that you will actually find hidden objects in this game. You will not do inventory fetch quests. You will not slide tiles or assemble jigsaw puzzles. You will not funnel steam through pipes or inexplicably unlock a door by erroneously spelling something in Hebrew from left to right. You will not have the option of playing mahjong if you do not like hidden object objects. You will not enjoy a predictable narrative written at a middle school reading level and read by voice actors employing a Radio Shack passive cardioid mic without a pop-filter. You will find hidden objects. Hundreds of hidden objects. You will be timed. If you click like a maniac, you will be penalized. If you are slow, you will fail. This is a game. This is how it should be. There is no skip button. I've played a half-dozen modern "HOPAs." That's hidden object puzzle adventures to you and me, Russ. Let me tell you, I had far more fun with this than all of those combined. Yes it's an old game, you might have to change your resolution and aspect ratio, you might have to configure compatibility mode. I'm sorry if you are too casual for that. It would be best if Big Fish Collector'ed this Edition, but Big Fish doesn't care about you anymore. The Big Fish eat the little ones The Big Fish eat the little ones Not my problem, give me some You can try the best you can You can try the best you can The best you can is good enough
Hidden Expedition: Titanic, developed by Big Fish Games and published by BFG Entertainment, is a classic hidden object adventure that reflects the early evolution of the genre, offering a straightforward yet atmospheric experience centered on exploration and discovery. Built around the historical setting of the RMS Titanic, the game places players in the role of an expedition member tasked with recovering lost artifacts from the ship’s wreckage. While the premise carries a sense of intrigue and historical weight, the game itself remains firmly rooted in simple mechanics and repetitive structure. The gameplay is driven almost entirely by hidden object scenes, where players search through detailed environments to locate items from a given list. Each dive into the Titanic introduces a new area filled with cluttered visuals, requiring careful observation and patience to uncover every object. The loop is easy to understand and immediately accessible, making it appealing to casual players or those new to the genre. However, this simplicity also limits the overall experience, as the core activity rarely evolves beyond its initial concept. Over time, the repetition becomes more noticeable, especially for players seeking deeper interaction or variety. To provide some variation, the game includes a selection of mini-games and puzzles interspersed between search sequences. These segments attempt to break the monotony by introducing logic-based challenges or small interactive tasks. While they occasionally succeed in adding variety, their quality is uneven. Some puzzles are engaging and offer a satisfying diversion, while others feel underdeveloped and serve more as filler than meaningful additions. As a result, they do little to fundamentally change the pacing or structure of the game. One of the more distinctive elements is the inclusion of time-limited dives, which simulate the constraints of underwater exploration. Players must complete their searches within a set time frame, adding a sense of urgency to each mission. This mechanic encourages quicker decision-making and keeps the gameplay moving, but it can also feel restrictive. The tension it creates is sometimes at odds with the careful observation required to find well-hidden objects, leading to moments of frustration when time runs out before a scene is fully explored. Visually, the game remains one of the stronger examples of early hidden object design. The environments are richly detailed, capturing the eerie and mysterious atmosphere of exploring a sunken ship. Each scene is filled with visual clutter that both enhances immersion and supports the gameplay. Despite the lack of animation or modern graphical polish, the art direction holds up reasonably well, providing a clear and engaging backdrop for the search mechanics. The audio design complements this with subtle ambient effects, though it remains understated and does not significantly elevate the experience. Narrative elements are present but minimal. The story serves primarily as a framework for the gameplay, guiding players from one location to the next without offering much depth or character development. While the Titanic setting suggests the potential for a more emotionally resonant or historically grounded narrative, the game does not fully explore these possibilities. Instead, it focuses on the act of discovery itself, leaving the story as a secondary component. The game’s age becomes most apparent in its lack of variety and progression. The repeated cycle of searching scenes and completing simple puzzles can begin to feel monotonous, particularly during longer sessions. While there is some replay value in revisiting scenes with randomized object placement, it does not significantly alter the overall experience. For modern players accustomed to more complex hidden object games with branching narratives or diverse mechanics, this simplicity may feel limiting. Despite these shortcomings, Hidden Expedition: T…
