Ghost Town

oh my god what a beautiful game, so well crafted and runs a dream on quest 3 using steam link to my pc, equipped with a rtx3070ti graphics card, the story is well paced, leisurely and totally amazing and the graphics just knocked me right off my perch, just can't put my VR down, no dislikes at all.

As someone who's played all 5 "the room" games, I am really hoping for a sequel to this, I loved it. It's nice to have this much character and story in something from them. I enjoyed every puzzle, but if someone cares about the exact balance of difficulty vs momentum of progression, this is the easiest of their games I've played. I don't think I'd want them to get deliberately complex or obtuse with things, but a few more steps to each puzzle might go a long way. As it stand I actually wished I had more time to enjoy tinkering with the various contraptions present in the story. I think my favorite section was exploring Weaver's artifacts, but I expected to have to use at least some of it to progress as well. I also don't think I ever filled my inventories 8 slots with more than 3 or 4 items, rarely holding anything at all, which almost feels like they wanted to push things farther than it went. I'm hoping that this lays the groundwork for them to make Ghost Town another favorite puzzle series for me.

Excellent VR experience, albeit a little short. Even so, I enjoyed it. Note the ending leaves the story open for a sequel so it's not just a "one and done" storyline. Will there be a sequel? I don't know. My crystal ball is on the fritz again...
