Flashpoint Campaigns: Cold War

Flashpoint Campaigns: Cold War is a wonderful, deep, and captivating strategy game. As a rule, I'm not a fan of 2D hex-based strategies, but this game is one of my favorites. It combines massive scale, a huge number of units under your command, and epic battles with the ability to watch the combat unfold—complete with firefights between individual units and intense tank duels. What personally draws me to the game is the ability to issue all the necessary orders and then just sit back and watch the next round as my troops engage in battle. In spirit, it reminds me of other "leisurely" yet "active" strategies, like Sea Power. Overall, I highly recommend it to all fans of Cold War themes and smart wargames.

On further reflection a thumbs down is harsh, would have liked to give a neutral but cannot. So changed to recommended as it is such a great game, though the comments below still stand..... A great game but it runs a bit sluggish and choppy on my set up. I play many other games which involve scrolling around a map and have no issues because of this I find it hard to recommend. I play this on a 4K monitor and would like to zoom in more maybe to up to 300% in steps. Also the ability to set the game to different resolutions would be welcomed.

I think 65$ is a little high for this game, considerin your staring at a, no real graphics or anything to the game. Seems reasonable to be more along the 45$ value. (I'm still getting into the game, but I still can't see it being at 65$)
