Fate Seeker II

This game is LEAGUES above most of the other Wuxia games on Steam. The English translation is great, there's some voice acting (Chinese only), but there's a solid storyline, cool characters, the combat is accessible (it's a bit hack-and-slash but there's a lot more to do like talking to people, puzzles, playing Go, rhetoric/debate challenges, etc). The moment I fell in love with it was when I found a dude called Potato and I screencapped it and put it into Google to ask it what the Chinese version of the name was because I assumed it was a mistranslation, and it goes, "no, his name is literally 'potato' in Chinese,'" LOL. Then I came across a kid who was crying and had the option to "ask," or "beat." and I was like wait a min. did it just tell me I could beat that kid? So I clicked it to see what would happen and he goes WHOOUAAAHHHH and takes a kung-fu pose and the kid runs off crying, then you have to cheer him up. Sold, immediately. This game is an absolute gem.

If the problem with the english translation was only the bad english, I think I could make it work with a guide. But that is not the only problem. The English version of the game has three bugs that annoy me a lot: - Portrait system is broken. You can't substitute the portraits with mods or your own custom portraits (not a deal breaker, but it bugs me) - Martial arts binded to the numerals don't work. This piss me off greatly. - Names don't show properly on the Mini Map. If you add to the fact that the english is kinda bad, it makes a miserable experience to play this game's english version. It doesn't make sense how they botched a mere translation patch so much. I waited a year thinking that they would fix things up, but they didn't. I should have refunded the game when I could. Lesson Learned.

Ohh my God, the bar set by chinese games are getting higher and higher , this is 3rd wuxia game i played and the best i have ever played, at first i am a bit confused by the mechanism etc but after reading the guide and walkthrough for a bit i get the gist of it and i must say it is veryy story rich, i loved the gameplay and not getting bored by the fight , investigation etc it is the best combination of all the element i like, even the romance and the plottwist at the ending woww i did not expect thatt, *chef kiss* thanks a lot for the developer that translate this game in to english, i am waiting for other game like this to be translated pleasee, how about fate seeker 1? fate seeker 3,4,5? i will definitely buy it this is by far the best wuxia game i played, blow my mind with all the branch and things we can do it is like a tons and i have not even finish all the rumor yet, each action can have different consequences , i loved itt , the char are good looking and pretty, usualyy we got goofy average looking hero that no woman likes, but this hero Zhuge Yu is handsome, smart, mysterious, cool and a bit ruthless, great martial artist, great voice , i am a fanss haha
