IT'S FREAKING ANIME GIRL CAPTAIN TSUBASA SUPER STRIKER IT LOOKS LIKE A GACHA AND PLAYS LIKE A GACHA, BUT IT'S NOT A GACHA IT'S A NORMAL GAME WITH FANSERVICE The game plays quite nice despite not being exactly the same as the NES/SNES era Captain Tsubasa games. I do wish you could control each player while on defense and have every option available even if you are unable to use it at a certain moment, but it's still fun. The story, while nothing new, is well-written. If you watched Captain Tsubasa or Inazuma Eleven you may notice several plotpoints are taken from those two shows.

Despite what the description of the game says, "Fantasista Asuka" is NOT a management game. It's straight-up a football title with a gameplay that is strongly based on the Blitzball minigame from Final Fantasy X. The gameplay is pretty simple and straight-forward, but for someone such as me who really loved playing Blitzball, is still a lot of fun. Even so, I cannot say that it is particularly balanced, challenging, or deep in its mechanics — in fact, it is quite the opposite. As for the story, it is extremely anime-style and more than decently written. I have personally enjoyed it, and it has a good rhythm. Additionally, although there are many characters, they are not abandoned as the story progresses: they all always have a few dialogues and their moments. In fact, the characters are probably the most interesting part of the game: there's many of them, each with their own unique design and gimmick. If you love over-the-top characters, then you're gonna like those of this game. The downsides though are some gameplay issues — such as too much RNG, the imbalance in characters roles in the order they are obtained, and opponents with infinite stamina —, the fact that in order to complete the bond of all characters it is necessary to play a NG+ second run, and the fact that for a game which significantly advertises its NSFW content, there is only one ecchi scene per character and many of them are pretty lame.

it's an alright game. It's fun, the gameplay is fun too, but the enemies are too easy to beat. It's more of the length/duration of each match that drags out the hours played rather than the difficulty. I beat the entire game, skipped most of the visual novel stuff [since Im here for the gameplay], so if you actually read it, it'll take longer than 6-7 hours [maybe 10+] I'd recommend it since it's a chill game, but it's not that strategic. I wish the gameplay was more fleshed out. That's all.
