I cant believe this game is free (lie) identifying fallacies has always been helpful so it must still be so. (appeal to tradition) besides, the creator must be broke to make a game like this, poor guy, we should help him out and buy it! (appeal to pity) i got an A+ on my math quiz the day of 100%ing this so it must have helped me (correlation Causation Confusion) besides, with the game being 10 dollars it has to be good! i havent played any other fallacy games that expensive (appeal to money and appeal to ignorance) this game really is the best, i want it to be! (wishful thinking) i mean if i didnt review this positively it would make it a bad game so we have to rate it well! (appeal to consequence) Because its such a great game the creator must have spent alot of time on it, he must be great too (jumping to conclussions, appeal to flattery, and division) this game has to be great because solving problems is human nature (appeal to nature) if you dont get this game your brain will rot and youll be stupid!! This game taught me the motte and bailey fallacy, I'd never heard of it before and everytime I've seen someone use it since it's been really cool to be like "woah, they're actually using the motte and bailey fallacy, it's real". Like I saw some incel adjacent types were talking about how it's useless for men to try to date women because of what they called "an asymmetry in attraction". When people called them out on this being strange they used their motte argument, that being that "an asymmetry in attraction" between men and women exists, where men are more attracted to women than women are to men, completely ignoring the bailey argument, that being that if this asymmetry exists then men shouldn't even try dating women because it's hopeless. So thank you for teaching me the motte and bailey fallacy, it's been really interesting to see it.
