Disaster Arms - Impact Project B.A.H.N.

Tl;Dr - Один из лучших ран-эн-ганов за последнее время, маст хэв для любителей плотных босс-рашей. Нам нужно больше игр вдохновлённых классикой от Treasure.

I just got the number one spot in Advance mode and totally forgot to ever leave a review. Oops! If you ever wondered what it would be like if Alien Soldier was "easy to learn, hard to master" instead of just kicking you right in the face as soon you start playing, here it is. You are given a choice of four weapons to work with that can be switched on the fly, strafe-lock based on where you are aiming (something I wish gunstar heroes would have had) and can also walk upside down on walls similar to the dev's own Somna Buster. Most of the game's 30 bosses are a ton of fun to fight and figure out. My personal favorites are the robo-gorilla capping off Act 1, the scalpel/sawblade combo and the little dork you have to race through the casino before he can reach the finish line. We also can't forget the blatant riff on the Coco Puffs bird- truly Treasure level ridiculousness for the whole 45 minute ride. (And in case you're wondering- yes, there is a reference to Melon Bread in the pile. I called it before I even bought the damn game.) Considering how greedy some indie devs are getting with pricing, this game is an absolute steal at $9.99. I also think a difficulty wedged between the casual and "arcade difficulty" modes would be nice. While learning the game i definitely felt like casual was too easy and "normal" was a little rough with the paltry four continues and the fact that your life doesn't even get refilled when entering a new act. Manageable and sure as hell a lot kinder than Alien Soldier, but was still jarring at first.
