Diner Dash:® Hometown Hero™

This game is a lot of fun!! I beat all of the levels and am aiming to get an expert score on all of them next. Not sure about the reviews saying level 10 is impossible to beat but as someone who has beaten it and all of the other levels I can confirm this isn't true. My only complaint is that it saves locally and not to the cloud and I had to hard reset my computer twice over the course of my playthroughs. I wish I had known the first time but the second time was on me lol. If you're looking for a challenge that involves strategy I recommend this game (and all of the other diner dash games if you can get your hands on them). I played the original Diner Dash on my grandma's computer when I was 10 years old and wish they had more here on Steam. Also if you couldn't already tell from the main reason why this game is thumbs downed, it needs to be played in windowed mode, which I had no issue with.

This is exactly like it was when I was a kid. I love this so much. I took everyone's advice and cut full screen mode off and played in just in the game window and had zero issues.

As someone who has played Diner Dash since she was a kid, I find it very strange that everyone seems to be stuck at level 10. The key to Diner Dash is to do as many of the same task in a row to stack points. It's impossible to win a level without doing that and by matching colors. It's also incredibly important to use drinks to make tables happy when they are sitting next to loud tables or any other annoying table. In addition, make sure to also put the extras on the table like flowers. Also, this is an older game. You have to play in windowed mode for it to work properly. If you have more trouble, go into the properties of the game (using the shortcut) and play it in compatibility mode. It is unrealistic to expect a modern game experience from this game. It is a throwback game that is a skill game.
