Deepcore Mining

Look away while you're mining and guarantee one of those awful spiders will hop out of a hole and kill you. Got me more than once. Simple and quick game.

Fun little 2-hour game. I liked that progression isn't about gathering money and buying upgrades (like the trailer makes it seem), but instead about collecting resources to craft your upgrades. Running felt slightly slower than it should have, and the laser was a bit janky since its beam extends farther than where it actually hits. I also wish there had been one more power upgrade so clearing the final rocks in the third level felt less tedious, since I ended up with way more materials than I could use. Those are just small things that could use some tuning, but overall it was fun, relaxing, and got me through a Destiny–Palestine debate :)

Short and sweet. Could have been more here, another few levels and some more nodes in the upgrade tree, however still fine for the price.
