  • It's a very repetitive Survivor game. There is a lot of micro-progression locked behind challenges that gradually increase your stats by a small amount. Gear that also come with randomized stats, different levels of quality that also bring with it some stat upgrades and effects that can make a run more convenient. Finding gear that is high quality is quite rare, compounded with having to fish for good randomized stats is also prolonging the grind. The game itself is quite challenging, more so than most Survivor type games, mainly because you do get heavily swarmed by enemies and a lot of the guns often don't aim where you would want them to. Instead of shooting into a big clump of enemies, your shot can get diverted to a singular nearby unit closest to you. This kind of design made me heavily rely on explosives and guns that provide huge AoE and ground effects. There are weapons that feel absolutely useless, no matter what Overclock you slap onto them. This leads to you leaning onto always fishing for certain weapons, otherwise you are in for a really bad time. Overclocking. I'm sad that this feature just comes with some of the most bland choices possible. Fire rate and Reload speed, basically just an attack speed buff. Slapping an element on the weapon. Even interesting mechanics, such as grenades doing a "pull" on enemies before detonating felt useless. The effect is negligible.
