Console Shop Simulator

Well, technically the game isn't really good currently. But it has potential. I would have not bought it, but I trust the developer. Lance Games did not abandon Pumping Simulator 2 which I played too and still pushed updates for it in 2026 so I believe in them to fix Console Shop Simulator too. In the moment the biggest problem is bugs like people getting stuck in walls, delivery robots getting stuck in walls but also missing quality of life features. You cannot easily do online shipments because you have to rely on the boxes getting auto labeled for the customer (which most times works incorrectly so you have to repack the same goods and constantly check if the labeling worked correctly or your products are delivered to wrong customer). Also the online shipment suffer from an additional problem: You have to constantly restock your online store too. If you sold everything you put online you have to put it all online again and again. The "Auto fill" doesn't seem to do anything or I do not understand what it does. Restocking is really PAINFUL because you can't re-order the same product once the amount reaches zero. If you still have 1 in stock the game lets you order directly from the inventory but if the last one is sold you have to order it manually. Plus I have to repeat what someone in another comment already said ... if you want to put something in the shelf and it's still there the game shows you where to put it by a green aura. But again here the problem is if you sold everything of one item already the game doesn't show you where you had put it anymore. So in conclusion if you restock when everything is sold you have big trouble.

I absolutely love Console Shop Simulator. The management system is genuinely deep, there’s a lot of thought behind it, and aesthetically the game works really well, even if the art style isn’t necessarily my personal favorite. BUT… the economy feels seriously unbalanced, especially at the beginning. The license prices are insanely expensive and completely crush your progression early on. New releases come so quickly that it starts feeling less like a shop simulator and more like a checklist with deadlines every 2–3 days. 😭 A new game comes out → you need the license → you spend a huge amount of money → you enjoy the new game for 24–48 hours → you finally start recovering financially → another release comes out → customers lose interest in the previous game → and you’re back to square one. Please space the releases out even more! 😂 And the bank loan system… 40% interest?! Absolutely terrifying. I think I may have actually bankrupted my shop trying to keep up. 😭 The second-hand system is also way too opaque for me. I genuinely don’t understand how the trade-in system works. A customer can walk in with one used game and ask for €700 for it, which makes absolutely no sense to me. The pricing in general also feels very strange sometimes — €900 for a PS4? €1,000 for a 2DS XL? 😭 So basically: I LOVE the actual game and its management systems. I just think the early-game economy, license prices, release frequency, second-hand/trade-in mechanics and pricing balance need some serious tweaking. There’s a really excellent game underneath all of this. I just want to be able to enjoy running my shop instead of constantly feeling like I’m fighting bankruptcy. 😂🎮

Not a bad game, I also haven't spent too long playing it so I haven't progressed very far but it is kinda a slow startup for me
