Cloud Keeper: Shrine of Dal

Huge fan of the developer since Stray Cat Crossing, and was eagerly anticipating Cloud Keeper. Suffice to say, this game has absolutely blown me away and I have been obsessed! Nearly at 100% so owe it a review. The art, music, and theme are excellent, as expected, but what I was truly impressed by and appreciate is the minimalist approach in the sense that the game doesn't really hold your hand or overly explain much in terms of gameplay mechanics or strategy, but you learn something new each run and everything is quite clear without being overwhelming when you see the stats, effects, cloud types, etc. in the menus. Really amazed how much depth and thoughtfulness was incorporated into the various synergies between the units... Fun to experiment with different themed teams and try to match them with the various characters, finding your own preferences while ratcheting up the difficult modifiers. This is my first bullet heaven game, but as a longtime fan of the bullet hell and to a certain extent, tower defense genres, the concepts in Cloud Keeper were easy to grasp and satisfying to master. Would love to see a touch more of the bullet "hell" aspects, so to speak, with additional bosses, maybe some different phases, and perhaps delve deeper into the story and learn more about the game's quirky and enigmatic inhabitants. In any artform, creators are lucky if they can find one winning formula, but the true greats can continually reinvent themselves and find success across many genres. Jetpackgone is in the rare latter category and I am excited to see what comes next. Especially considering the low price, this is an easy A+ recommendation. Incredible value and definitely my game of the year so far in 2026.

i hope the devs see this and keep improving the game the game currently lack "depth" units are way too "simple" 3 merge > stronger there's a game "i am the legion" or something where u can merge ur units and become stronger unit i do think u should try that game to kinda mix up ur game abit its a good fun 15- 30 min game but really lack the depth

This game surprised me with how addicting it is. I have to this point unlocked and beat the game with each character. They are all unique in their way. Queen is my favorite! You give her att spd up and lots of coins... map is CLEARED! I don't know much about Korean Folklores or Fairy Tales, but this makes me want to learn more. Amazing game! 10/10! Can't wait for the update!
