Carmen Sandiego

I'm not sure why this has mixed reviews. It seems like a Mostly Positive to me. All they did was took the classic, nostalgic experience of Carmen Sandiego and gave it a fresh coat of paint. You have a campaign with brand new mechanics, and then you have what is essentially just the original game with retro-styled graphics, and you're free to alternate. You narrow down suspects, you identify destinations, you try to beat the clock. I dunno, maybe you need the nostalgia to enjoy it.

while the graphics are better that the original, the game is far worse. it almost autocompletes quests and is plain boring to play, the old game had you guessing what flags the countrys had, capitals etc, its sort of in the game. but in a very boring way. sad

Clunky movement controls in the third person, not as much action as I would have hoped considering the series it was based off of. Think more of an evolution of the old CS games rather than a new interesting one.
