Caribbean Legend

This game is truly a masterpiece of its time, and now that it is updated often, that gave me a shock. I am a big fan of games like the Mount and Blade series and love building my own warband and traveling the world, which this game lets you do and then some. I spent hours pirate hunting, trading, treasure hunting, and gambling. The quests always felt like grand adventures, with choices that surprised me and missed at times. Ship quality and quantity is a nice feature. From all types of rates, I can stick around with a six or fifth rate for a while without feeling too weak. You really can make small ships feel big with the right tactics and well-placed shots. I recommend knowing your gun sizes, as it helps a lot, and I find killing sails is always best. I would recommend this to anyone who loves building their own empire from nothing, anyone who loves just a long story with you and your character, and anyone with a love for naval combat.

The world and storyline that this game provides is amazing. You can be a cutthroat pirate, a savvy business owner, or a fierce pirate hunter. The options are limitless, the gameplay/world is huge. the mechanics are great. The new beta has great graphics and promises so much. definitely a work in progress, but i look forward to every update. Excited to buy any and all DLC. if you like Pirates and old school RPG, this game is for you. CAVEAT: Learning curve is tough. they do their best with tutorial, but this game is big...it's huge!!

first thing first, if you are expecting polished game it's not here. This feels like early access games you usually see around, That said gameplay loop is beyond amazing, they delivered all the fun from og with a little bit updated graphics with hd textures. It's ridden with bad translation, terrible item labelling, some *** here and there, the fun part is that those are mostly the basic things not something complicated. Translation and item labels being complete opposites are just hard to swallow at first. And I would still say it's not worth full price but when you get it on big discount, go for it. I dunno what will happen after update 2.0 as I've seen beta and it does not look good (it's beta tho) but for what it is before that it's great!
