Card Survival: Tropical Island

Fun for a while, interesting, and challenging. But the game feels very grindy. You can barely make any progress in the game because of how often your character has to feed himself and get clean water. I understand it's a survival game. But it just makes progression slow.

simple crafting and gathering that feels good and has a great resource bar management as a balance. All the areas are a bit static, but you can alter the scenario a bit and it has a bit of replayability.

I play the game as a normal dude with no traits beyond loner, Ive died so many times in such horrible ways, ive prepared beyond any human would to survive, preparing for multiple catastrophes at once. Ive had a literal football field size amount of cooking pots filled with water, and enough fat and leather to make the entire island a blanket just large enough to hold my fat ass after eating my stores. Ive become schizophrenic and completely detached from reality challenging the watchers in the shadows and spent months training my spearfighting to best a demon created by my own mind that hunts me in an attempt to regain some sense of control and get a grip on reality What kills you in this game more than anything? not stopping to smell the roses, almost literally, your sanity and wellbeing is crucial to everything, but beyond that, getting excited about a big project and neglecting one stat can lead to a huge downward spiral, 4X genre doesnt have *** on card survival planning and execution, Things will never go exactly as planned and whats in the biomes themselves is randomized in quantity and how long it can take to find them, Makes the game feel alive, you cant just do the same thing every life starting out and expect perfect results according to your goal. Suffering is the fun, and thats all i want from a survival game
