fun game i got into a few years ago. public matches are accessible and the game is easy to get into. i mostly play the comp scene which makes the game fun for me. the steam version is better than the browser version in every way possible. if you're halfway decent at any FPS game you can destroy some kid who paid a bunch of money for gold weapons with just the beginner stuff. it isn't as pay2win as everyone says it is.
Bullet Force is a straightforward military shooter that I found pretty easy to settle into. The game focuses on fast multiplayer gunfights without trying to reinvent the basic first person shooter formula, and I actually think that works in its favor. I can jump into a match, pick a loadout and immediately start fighting without having to learn a huge collection of complicated systems. The gunplay is the strongest part for me. The weapons feel distinct enough that I can change how I approach a match depending on what I want to use. Some situations favor keeping my distance, while others reward aggressive movement and close range fighting. I liked having enough weapon variety to experiment with different approaches rather than sticking to the same setup every time. The different multiplayer modes also give the game some useful variety. Team Deathmatch offers the most familiar experience, while Conquest adds a stronger focus on controlling the battlefield. Gun Game gives me a reason to keep adapting as my weapon changes, and Free For All turns every player into a potential threat. I enjoyed being able to switch modes when one style started feeling repetitive. The custom map editor is probably the feature that gives Bullet Force the most potential beyond the standard matches. Being able to create new maps opens up possibilities that the default content cannot provide on its own. I like games that give players tools to make their own content because it can extend the lifespan of a simple shooter considerably. My biggest issue is that the overall presentation can feel uneven. The shooting is enjoyable, but some parts of the experience lack the polish I would expect from a more established multiplayer shooter. The progression and monetization systems also make the game feel more focused on maintaining a long term online service than simply delivering a clean arcade shooter. I also think the experience depends heavily on the current multiplayer environment. The core modes are fun when matches have a good flow, but the game does not have a huge amount of single player depth to fall back on. The custom maps help with variety, but I would still like to see more distinctive official content and stronger map design. Overall, Bullet Force is a solid free shooter that succeeds mainly through accessible gunplay and a useful selection of multiplayer modes. I enjoyed experimenting with different weapons, switching between game types and seeing what the custom editor can add to the experience. It could use more polish and variety, but there is enough here to make a few matches enjoyable. Rating: 7/10
This game is a childhood favorite of mine. I used to play it on my phone, and I downloaded it on Steam to relive those memories. Don't expect amazing graphics or anything like that; it's a simple and fun mobile game to play in your free time or otherwise. The gameplay is somewhat similar to Battlefield 4, but there are some issues with weapons. Buying weapons is tedious; you have to play a lot to unlock them. If you're expecting a highly competitive game, I advise against downloading it; it won't suit you. However, if you just want to try it out or relive some memories, that's fine. But it's a bit stagnant, and the developers haven't been very active on it, which is a shame. If they had worked on it and released regular updates, it would be a huge game by now. We hope this will change in the future.
