BROK the InvestiGator

I think I'd do this diamond of a game a huge disservice if I didn't write a review about it. So here goes: What I think the game and the general writing does best is its portrayal of "failure". With your own personal success a lot of times you leave others to suffer. So can you really call it a success in the end? Quite a few times this game let me ponder this exact question. All the characters are incredibly well written, animated and voiced. Brok's voice alone felt like a warm hug whenever I needed one. As for the story: I was slightly surprised for it to go into a different direction than I initially anticipated. I did enjoy it very much overall, though. The only thing that slightly bothered me were some of the "interrogation" puzzles. Quite a few times the question you had to answer was not specific enough to correctly combine two statements with each other or the dialogue within the interrogation scene itself was not concise enough to choose the proper statements. Sometimes I already knew 100% what was going on but could not choose the right statements for the life of me. Apart from that the game was pure joy! Especially for a slightly older player like me. :3 But no matter your age, a great story and great characters will always stay with you.

Somehow they managed to take what I thought would be a perfect videogame as a kid and turned it into a real product. It's a game where there are many choices that actually significantly change the game, and somehow it all works out into a cohesive story.

Very cool, action-packed, emotion point and click game with a super cool twist near the end! Great voice acting, characters, environments, etc.!
