閃攻機人アスラ - ASURA THE STRIKER -

So bit of a different reason I got this game for. Last year I just really wanted to go back and play Galaga Destination Earth. Game from my childhood. The problem? I've a game on disc for PC but my PC doesn't have a CD player. A PS1 copy is impossible to find and I'm not willing to run emulations on this PC. Solution = Find a similar game. So I tried the demo for this game and a few others. Asura won me over. Game felt fast, controls are very on point although takes a bit to get used to and the look of the game was more appealing then most spaceship shooters. BONUS: I CAN PLAY IT WITH MY QUANBA DRAGON ARCADE STICK! Game's awesome for letting me do this. Though I haven't put many hours as I normally would I've kept up with the updates and the game kept getting better each time. I'm impressed with the guys who made this game. They didn't just release it and call it a day. They keep updating it and giving me more reasons to return. Love the new costumes, the new starting cutscene on the warship. the new EX gear you can start with, the space ship, the mech suit, the GEO SWORD and fact I can enjoy the harder difficulty anytime without smacking my head against the wall since I've more options on how to tackle it besides the different level paths. Bonus for the added navigator explaining a couple things at the start of levels, it helped in figuring out the new EX gear. This game doesn't have some grand story but the lore is nice. The different endings are fun to see even if they're very short. Also perfect time to play this since its impossible to play Bamco classics and they refuse to bring back Galaga in any meaningful way other than bad mobile games. In fact they ruined PACMAN last year. So personal thank you to the people responsible for giving us ASURA THE STRIKER. You gave me gold when I needed it most. For a while I could forget my childhood and genuinely enjoy a new game. Asura's cool to play as. For anyone reading this trying to figure out if they want to spend money on it, STOP READING NOW! Try the demo, play the game. You won't be disappointed.

superscaling is back and it's as beautiful as the last time i played it obviously, it's space harrier. look at it! but the parry mechanic adds just enough fun to make it stand on it's own as a great retro-style arcade-fashioned game.

I was hesitant to buy this at first because I thought it was a horny game. Turns out it's just got some fan service and honestly when play, you barely notice it anyway! This game is super-duper fun and the music is great, the main Asura is super super pretty (bonus), the levels are cool as heck, and all the alt outfits and vehicals have cool bullets and stuff! great game! leaving a review because your number of reviews is too low! Hope the game is doing well sales wise! Good luck devs!
