Easily in my top 10. This is an incremental game behind a story game. The incremental game is serviceable and enjoyable enough. The story is wonderful, intriguing, and absolutely supplants the incremental game. I spent two days actively managing the game, which isn't necessary, in order to keep reading the story. I love Smeed and this game would be one of my favorites even without Smeed. Thank you Smeed. Seriously, though, the core of this incremental game is independent storylines of lives and items that interconnect in obvious but fully distinct ways. It's a unique and terribly, terribly interesting way of telling a cohesive story; one that kept me managing the game for two days straight (even though that's ENTIRELY unnecessary to play the game-- this isn't such a time sink as I made it for myself, as I enjoyed for myself). 10/10; and if you hate the waiting, turn on 2x speed (or more, if you want). The waiting seriously does help to accentuate the story, and I think default speed is the right way to enjoy the story, but I don't blame anyone for speeding up the waiting, and clearly, neither do the developers, given the options offered. EA Disclaimer: This is better than you'd expect with "early access". The story is complete, the game is 100% playable. No real reason not to buy it now. Since I've played, it's been minimal balance changes to perfect the experience. The developers clearly want this to be immaculate, but I don't expect you'll be missing anything by playing it now (or, when it goes on sale again; 30% off is the best ever offered at the time of writing). And, to the devs: Thank you.

i have enjoyed this game but only because it fits my autism to a T. at this point, i've stopped following the story and I'm just trying to get it 100% completed. Edited ... what a surprise. enjoyed this game a good bit.

This is a fully functioning *story focused* incremental game with a 12 hour max offline mode and I don't understand why it is in Early Access. There is entire mechanics for you to use to help speed the game up while your away. I only used it when I wasn't at my computer and it took me about 30 hours playtime and those mechanics are the last thing I am leveling. I didn't notice any bugs, no crashes, only a couple minor things that were explained in the FAQ and no longer things i care about when the game finished. One of the few games the music stayed on the entire time, one of the tracks is loud and I kept turning it down but never off. The only thing I can think of is, voice acting and/or when a document is shown, provide a transcript some of it was hard to read as it is suppose to be but *** come on. And that leaves us with the over-arcing premise of the entire game which is going to haunt me for a long time. It is a wonderful story that I hope isn't true.
