This game is absolutely one of the best I’ve played. I’m only a few minutes in on this account because I already spent hours on a friend’s copy before I finally had to buy it myself. It’s genuinely one of the most memorable and fun experiences I’ve had on Steam in a long time. Please give this amazing indie team some time and attention. The writing, characters, and combat are all deeply engaging and a ton of fun.

Turn-Based RPG Game Inspired by Pokémon and Cassette Beasts The game draws strong inspiration from titles like Pokémon and Cassette Beasts, which significantly enhances player engagement through familiar yet refined turn-based mechanics. I found myself deeply immersed in the gameplay, particularly due to the unique character paths and thoughtfully designed quest puzzles. The water valve puzzle in the Buried Temple area stood out to me—it really drew me in with its logical structure. I found it both engaging and satisfying to solve. I was genuinely impressed by how well it was designed. The concept of using the Shobii to travel across the scorching Dunes region is unique. Triggering the Shobii for movement between checkpoints adds an interesting layer to traversal mechanics and stands out as a creative design choice. The map design is expansive, offering vast areas to explore and a variety of elemental creature bosses—such as Earth, Water, and Fire—that add strategic diversity to encounters. The game excels in several core RPG aspects: character development, strategic depth, narrative focus, replayability, and accessibility. These elements make it especially appealing to players who prefer a more deliberate, rhythm-based gameplay experience over fast-paced action. Visually, the game stands out with its distinct pixel art and hand-drawn styles, contributing to a memorable and cohesive aesthetic that complements its nostalgic tone. Loved playing this game, can't wait for the full game to release.

I wasn't prepared for just how UNFINISHED this game is ("early access" doesn't really mean anything these days). The game looks and sounds good in principle, but I bought it TWO YEARS AGO and it's looking like I pre-ordered a game that's maybe coming out in 2029 and perhaps I'll actually remember to go back and play it some day. Would not recommend paying full price for the current state of the game.
